WORKING PRINCIPLE

The MQ series are self-priming centrifugal pumps suitable for suction from deep wells. Self-priming is achieved using an ejector . house et body, which can be installed diectly on the pump body or more often lowered in a well and connected to the pump body by two piai delivery produced by the closed centrifugal impeller is se nt only partly to the delivery opening. The remaining (driving) water is recirculate through the ejector, which is connected to the suction chamber where it generates the necessary vacuum to draw up water from the point re the j et bady is immersed. The water from the j et body opening mixes in the diffuser with recirculating water from the pu n increasing ils pressure at the expense of recirculating water, and is drawn into the pump through the suction pipe. when the j et body is directly installed on the pump body the MQ series works like the MJ, MSW series.

These pumps are suitable for pumping clean water and fluids which are not chemically aggressive to the pump components. The MQ series install ed above ground with the j et body submerged guarantees function ing even when the static level of the well water falls as far as 50 meters below the level of the installed pumpFor this reason these pumps are extremely reliable, economical and simple to use and find many uses in domestic applications and the automatic distribution of water from small and medium-sized surge tanks, watering gardens, etc. in all cases where the suction depth exceeds the normal capacity(9meters) for surface pumps . Always install a retention value on the iet body oningt is advisable to install a vaive on the pump delivery openingto ensure adecuate counter-pressure when working. Fill the pump and the piping connecting the pump to thejet body with water before starting up. When drawing water from depths not exceeding 9 meters the jet body(4" ejector only) can be installed directly onto the pump body. In this casewhenfirst starting up fill the pump body with water. without bothering to fill the suction piping. These pumps should be installed in a covered area, protected against the weather.
